Beacon 443 Diner Restaurant in Lehighton

I gave this place 1 star because that's what it deserved for years I. M. O. but yesterday I had an excellent breakfast there and adjusted my rating. I will continue to adjust my rating if they continue great service!

The food is ok, your typical comfort food place. Waiter took a while to greet us and the food also took a while to come out. Price was very good for the food.

Largest selection of food I have ever seen at a diner, it also helps that all if it is really good!

Good food just not the best reception from the original person who started to wait on us. It took 1 and a half hours to eat lunch so a little slow. The second waitress was much nicer and did a great job.

Cozy restaurant where the locals hang out. Friendly attentive staff. The owners are friendly and outgoing. The restaurant serves breakfast all day.Coffee is delicious. Our breakfasts were perfectly prepared. The home fries are the best home fries I have ever had.Don't pass this little town restaurant if you are passing through town. You will surely be pleased. The food, the establishment and the service are all excellent.

Very hit or miss in regards to food. But staff is always friendly and it is always clean. Food is much better during the day, the evening cook tends to oversalt the food and takes longer to get food to the table even though the supper rush is over and there are only a handful of customers ordering meals.

Food is very basically prepared. Nothing fancy. But, hearty fare.

Amazing wings, and so many we couldn't finish them. Gyro was also really good. Extremely friendly waitress who went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Greek food influence but everything else in comfort food available. I just wish we lived closer so we could visit more often!

Love the Beacon on 443. It's our main go to. We have been going there for many yrs. Very good food, pleasant staff, & reasonably priced.

This is an old, old, old diner that looks and smells as if it hasn't been updated since it opened. We sank so low in the booth that we felt like children at the big table. The bathrooms are as dirty and foul as public NYC bathrooms back in the '80s. Remember those? We really should've left but we were fascinated the diner was still in business and wanted to understand why. The answer we came up with is large portions and halfway decent food. Go figure. Pass by. Just pass on by. If the diner is that shabby and gross, imagine the kitchen.

Service was great, food , not so much. Chef salad had more meat than lettuce . Lettuce was very wilted and should have been tossed. Not on my salad though.

The food is reasonably priced and you get a great portion. Staff was friendly, and while they got my order wrong, I was okay with it because the food was great. Fabulous Monte Cristo, I highly suggest that item.

Platters are tasty but would be better if they included a salad and bread.

Small but friendly restaurant the prices are great and the people are warm and friendly.

Poor customer service. Food was not great but okay. Not very professional...had to listen to I believe a head hostess or waitress reprimand a young waitress in front of customers including myself. She was very rude to her fellow worker or employee. Cashing out, the bartender was more involved with flirting with the men at the bar. Place is rundown and workers are highly unprofessional!!!

This is a excellent restaurant. You can sit down and have a nice meal with your family and wont ever get the feeling of being rushed out the door. Very nice waitresses and great food selection.

They offer a poutine that I have not seen in any restaurants locally an there Tuscan burger was amazing

I highly enjoy going to Beacon 443, it has a pleasant atmosphere & the staff are always willing to help & serve you. The menu had everything to fit your taste & the food is always hot & delicious. Bathrooms are clean. If you never visited The Beacon 443. Try it! You will go back again & again. Plus they always support the local schools & animal shelters. I always enjoy putting my changes in the can.

We go there a couple of times a year when we are here for vacation..love their service and food is delicious..

Got there Sunday at wrong time. About 1:30, place was jamed. Had to wait awhile, but well worth it. I got the pork chops, wife got the ham steak. EXCELLENT! Very reasonable in their pricing. Whole meal with drinks was only $25.33. Very pleased.

The service and staff was very nice. We were quickly seated and minimal wait time for food which was delicious.

Great food and great accommodating service even in the COVID days! Got ham and cheese omelette with home fries, great!! Would recommend to anybody coming in the area.

I don't know what they did with the other 442 Beacons, but the food is good enough so I'll forgive them.Also they saved my artwork. I am honored

Was in here today and a few times before. Haven't got anything good or bad to say. To me it's like any other diner but I will go back and I'll give this a four star.

This diner is one of the best I've ever seen. The atmosphere is always friendly and relaxing. The staff is very friendly and although they have disputes, the staff cleans up their act quickly, plus, it's quite a show. The food is delicious and, yes, it sometimes takes a while but it's most likely busy at that time so, obviously, you're going to wait. It's not a fast food place---it's a cute little old-timey diner. Speaking of old-timey---the Beacon has been around a long, long time so, yes, it's a bit rustic. The owners have gotten new seats and fixed up the problems with the machines and the staff keep the place well cleaned. Overall, it's a fantastic little diner with lots to choose from, no matter the time of day, with friendly service.

Service was Snail Slow, food was 6 out of 10.This was only our second and LAST visit to this place.The first time the service was very slow, the food took forever to come out but the waitress was friendly. We decided to Give them another chance. This time the service was even slower, no one came at any point during the meal to check to see if we needed anything, we had to grab staff members to re-fill our ketchup, give us extra napkins etc. And the place needs a makeover.We are done with this place.
